It’s amazing that in the country that is the land of the free and home of the brave only 53 percent of adults know it takes one year for the earth to orbit the sun.A recent survey prepared by the California Academy of Science and conducted by Harris Interactive by telephone has produced pathetic results. For example, 41 percent do not know that the dinasours and the early humans did not exist at the same time. 53 percent of adults cannot estimate how much of the earth is covered in water. Only 21 percent of the tested adults could truthfully say that they understand basic science principles. To put that into a new perspective for everyone, 29 percent of american adults have a college degree (2005 estimate) , 81 percent follow a specific religion (We all know that Religion is bullshit), 63 percent of Americans are either too stupid or too lazy to keep track of their weight and have a Body Mass Index of over 25.0, With Americans appearing academically incompetent, getting them jobs will be easy if they have their hearts set on working minimum wage, but filling jobs that have a requirement of higher education standards will prove hard with so many lazy, and questionably stupid Americans.
